Artist Statement.

In my art, I bring a vintage gothic world with both horror and whimsical elements. 

The most tender stages of my artistic journey were heavily inspired by the Lowbrow movement, and because it was essential for the growth of my personal style, I believe there are still remains of it in the way that I express myself on a canvas.

 I started and developed a big part of my own style in traditional art and later on, I began to work digitally as well and it became my main form of creating.

 Nowadays, my art is mostly rooted in the Gothic movement. I take inspiration from movies, literature, and known figures of the Gothic subculture and throw them into a distant whimsical nostalgic world with a few references to esotericism and witchy practices. Even though my art leans more towards realism, I like to bring a ghostly essence to my pieces, where sometimes the edges aren’t extremely defined, generally, there is no line-art. On paper, my most appreciated technique is charcoal, as it allows me to bring the hauntingly beautiful mysterious aura that I aspire and look up to achieve in every piece of mine.
